In the majority of orders we will use Royal Mail or Parcel Force. Shipping charges are calculated based on the weight of the parcel and the delivery address. The value of a parcel is also of concern with charges and may have an impact on the price of your shipping. This charge is added to your order before you enter your payment details in the checkout area. We do from time to time run special promotions on the cost of delivery. We reserve the right to change these without notice. Please note carriage promotions cannot be carried out in conjunction with any other offer we may be running. In the event where we have taken an order, charged carriage and are unable to ship for the cost as set out in the shopping basket or an error in the shipping cost has been made we will immediately contact you and give you the new cost and the option to cancel the order.

In the majority of cases we will use Parcelforce for our deliveries outside the UK. Although Parcelforce is a UK based company it has international partners in almost every country in the world. Please refer to the above link for estimated delivery costs. When an order is placed for delivery outside the UK and there is no standard charge set for your country above, you will be charged for your goods alone and we shall contact you by email giving you the exact shipping cost. No goods shall be dispatched until carriage charges are confirmed and paid for. You will have the right to cancel your order at this stage

Standard delivery is between 8am and 6pm. Saturday deliveries may be available on certain products or in certain areas. Next day delivery is also available on request within the UK. For a delivery quote please email info@saddlery.biz. Please note if your delivery address is difficult to find please give special instructions in the area provided when placing the order eg “house is second on the left after the school” or “try to not deliver on a Friday”. We will attach any direction to the delivery and endeavour carry out any other instructions given to us. Failure to provide adequate delivery instructions could result in an additional shipping charge. If you are unable to be to home to accept the delivery please give a work or business address to ensure there is someone to sign for the delivery

Whilst we make every effort to deliver goods on the day we specify, we cannot guarantee delivery on that day or accept liability for deliveries made outside this timescale. This also applies to products sent directly from our manufacturers. We cannot accept liability for out of pocket expenses or other costs incurred due to failed or delayed deliveries.

|
Stable Equipment (and bulky items) Delivery/Returns:

||

In some cases Old Mill Saddlery's normal shipping rates may not apply. This may be due to the size, shape or weight of the items We will notify you within 12 hours if we cannot ship the goods for the cost shown. We will advise you of the revised delivery costs and at this stage you have the right to cancel. Due to nature of these items we will make every effort to contact you to arrange a convenient delivery time.

|
For heavy or bulky items we reserve the right to charge a redelivery fee if the customer is not there to collect the goods as arranged.
|
||
|
Dimentions of Parcels
|
||
|
For parcels lighter than 2kg going via Post Office outside of the UK and Ireland, letters and packages must not succeed a combined length and width of 90cm. No single dimention may not exceed 60cm. For items sent in rolls or tubes, the length plus two times the diameter must be no greater than 104cm, with the length no greater than 90cm. For our larger parcels going worldwide Parcelforce offer and online tracking and named confirmation of delivery offering proof of delivery. For larger more expensive items such as saddles we offer higher compensation for carriage. This will be an additional cost that will be offered to customers post purchase. Customers will be contacted where compensation may be required and goods shall not be dispatched until confirmation from customer is received. Free Delivery
|
||
|
We do from time to time run special promotions on the cost of delivery. This may be free or a nominal fee. We reserve the right to change these without notice. When goods are ordered under the terms of free delivery the customer will be liable for the cost of delivery if the goods are returned under our 10 day money back guarantee. This will not be the case where the goods are returned and found to be faulty. Please note that any delivery promotions cannot be redeemed in conjunction with any other promotion.

Order Tracking
|
||
|
All parcels dispatched via Royal Mail and Parcel Force shall be accompanied by tracking information, this information shall be emailed to the address supplied with the account on the day of dispatch. Parcels dispatched via Post Office will not have tracking information. To track you parcel please visit www.royalmail.com or www.parcelforce.com.
