Foran Neutrolac
- A nutritional balancer to maintain the bodys natural ability to neutralise excess lactic acid and retain normal pH.
- For use as a feed supplement in the nutritional management of horses prone to ‘tying-up’ during strenuous exercise.
- During work, such as racing, body acids are produced, and this is quite a normal bodily function.
- The process can become a problem when energy is produced anaerobically (in the absence of oxygen), and the accumulating acid causes a progressive decline in the body pH such that the muscles begin ‘tying-up’ and the horse in unable to run-on.
- Neutrolac helps maintain the body’s natural defence mechanisms including flushing of waste in the urine to protect against “tying-up” syndrome.
- Contains no stimulants or depressants.
- May help maintain natural urination.
- Due to the special needs of horses that experience “tying-up” it is normally appropriate to include a quality body salt replacer (e.g. Equi-Lyte G) and a Vitamin E supplement (e.g. V.S.L.) in their diet.
- Contains no prohibited substances.
