The Equilibrium Airlite Tendon boot has been developed from the results of three years of research and testing with scientists, vets and professional riders.
Using the most high-tech materials Equilibrium has created Airlite technology designed to deliver high protection whilst maintaining lightness, flexibility and breathability.
The outer layer is made from an EVA mesh which is hard wearing yet still flexible.
The middle layer is a densely woven tough nylon mesh which blocks debris from penetrating the boot.
The inner layer is made from shock absorbing EVA and has raised platforms embossed onto the surface.
These platforms allow heat to escape to the numerous air vents that are cut into the surface of the lining.
In this way Airlite encourages the horses natural cooling system of perspiration and evaporation.
The Equilibrium tendon boot offers substantial tendon protection with two shock absorbing layers of EVA to prevent concussion injury and a polycarbonate layer to withstand penetration.
