We are pleased that you wish to use our website at saddlery.biz. We have a number of terms and conditions that, by using our Site, you agree to be legally bound by. They are therefore important and so please take a few minutes to read them. If you do not agree with terms & conditions set out below please do not use the Site.

You should periodically check these terms and conditions, because we reserve the right to change them at any time and the terms and conditions that are available on our Site at the time you are using it will be those that apply during such use.

In our terms and conditions, where we refer to "Content" we mean all the text and images contained in, or available from, our Site.

How to Order:

Shopping online at saddlery.biz is easy. Whether you're simply browsing or searching for a specific product there are three ways in which to search:

1. Category Search - Simply use the menus on the left hand side of the page to select a category you are interested in. A floating menu will appear with a further selection of categories. Use your mouse to click on the category you are interested in and this will take you into that page. Sometimes products are divided into sub-categories. These are displayed as underlined titles at the top of the screen. Simply use your mouse to click on the sub category you are interested in and this will take you into view the products. When you are in a sub-category it is possible to return to the previous selection by clicking the link at the top of the page.
2. Brand Search – this is a drop down menu located at the top of the page and contains all the brand names of our products. Selecting a brand name will allow you to view all the products by that particular brand.
3. Keyword Search – at the top left of the screen you will see a box labelled Search . By typing a keyword into this box you can search the entire contents of the site. For example if you were looking for a vitamin supplement for your horse type the word ‘vitamin' into the box and click Go and all the vitamin supplements should be displayed on the screen.

More Details

When the list of relevant products is displayed on the screen click on the photograph or the more info link for detailed information and a chance to buy this product.

Buying A Product

When you have selected the product you want to buy select the colour and size where applicable and type in the quantity required. Click the ADD TO CART button beside it to add this item to your shopping basket. Information about your shopping basket is displayed at all times at the top right hand side of the screen.

When you have finished shopping and are ready to pay for your goods click the BUY NOW button at the top of the screen. This will take you to a detailed list of the products in your basket. The REMOVE ITEM button beside each good gives the opportunity to change your shopping basket at this stage. If you are not ready to purchase now it is possible to save the quote until a later date by filling in some details. This will save time when you come back to purchase the goods.

Currency

A currency converter has been included to aid international customers. Click on the appropriate flag at the top right hand side of the screen to change the currency to GBP, Euros or US Dollars. This calculation will be based on the exchange rate that day and will therefore is subject to change.

Price Check

Some products will have a link labelled price check. This will allow you to view our prices against competitor's prices quickly and easily.

More Detailed Images

Sometimes it is difficult to see a product from just one small photo. In order to help you with your purchases some products have a more detailed images page. Simply use your mouse to click on the link and this will take you to a page with a larger image on it. Click on the small photos at the bottom of the page to change the large image.

Login

Registering with Saddlery.biz will make future shopping quicker and easier. Your details will be stored and when you return to saddlery.biz simply enter your username and password to login which will save time when checking out. By entering your email address you will be kept up to date with special offers by regular email bulletins.

Method of Payment:

Payment can be made in different ways. We accept payment VISA, Master Card, Switch & American Express. We can also accept payment by cheque, draft. Just print off your order at payment stage and enclose this by post with your cheque or draft.

When paying by credit card it is important that you provide the cardholder's name as it is shown on the card, and address exactly as it appears on the card statement. Card fraud is illegal and perpetrators will be prosecuted in all cases. You must confirm that the credit or debit card that is being used is yours. All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to or does not, for any reason, authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.

Payment In US Dollars And Euros

When paying by credit card in Euros or US Dollars the total amount in your shopping basket may not be exactly the same as what you will be charged on your credit card. We charge your credit card in £Sterling but it will always be shown on your credit card statement in your local currency. Sometimes there can be a slight variation in the rate the credit card companies calculate. As we have no control over this it is not always possible to have this totally accurate. In most cases you will actually find that the amount charged to your card is slightly less that what your shopping basket shows.

Out-of-Stock:

If there is an item you have ordered via our website that is out of stock we will endeavour to contact you via email within 12 hours during UK working hours. We will not charge anything to your Credit or debit card until the goods are ready for despatch. The only exception to this is where the order is a special order that is specific to you and we may have to take payment with order.

When you submit an order to us on our website you will receive email conformation saying that we are processing your order. You will then receive a further email from us acknowledging your order and either telling you that you order has been dispatched or giving you estimated timescales for delivery. You should check both emails for accuracy and let us know immediately if there are any errors. You have the right to cancel an order at this stage, providing the order has not been filled and ready for dispatch. Please note that a contract will only be formed between us when the goods have been despatched to you.

Prices

Whilst it is our intention to keep our website up to date and error free, it is the case that, on occasion, pricing errors may occur. If we discover such an error after you have submitted an order to us, we will contact you prior to accepting your order with the correct pricing details. You may then either cancel your order or confirm your order at the correct price.

Delivery:

We will make every effort to despatch goods as promptly as possible. We undertake to inform you as soon as possible of any subsequent change to the delivery time.

This applies to most items we sell, but for smaller items like 1 pair of breeches the charge would be approx £10. The charge of £30 would appear in you shopping cart but we will charge the lesser amount where possible

In the majority of orders we will use Royal Mail or Parcel Force. Most shipping charges are calculated based on the speed of delivery required and the delivery address. This charge is added to your order before you enter your payment details in the checkout area. We do from time to time run special promotions on the cost of delivery. We reserve the right to change these without notice. In the event where we have taken an order, charged carriage and are unable to ship for the cost as set out in the shopping basket or an error in the shipping cost has been made we will immediately contact you and give you the new cost and the option to cancel the order.

Delivery for outside the UK, N.Ireland, Eire, USA and Canada

In the majority of cases we will use Parcelforce for our deliveries outside the UK. Although Parcelforce is a UK based company it has international partners in almost every country in the world. Please refer to the above link for estimated delivery costs. When an order is placed for delivery outside the UK we will contact you be email giving you the exact shipping cost . You will have the right to cancel your order at this stage

Standard delivery is between 9am and 5pm. Saturday deliveries may be available on certain products. For a delivery quote please email deliverys@saddlery.biz Please note if your delivery address is difficult to find please give special instructions in the area provided when placing the order eg “house is second on the left after the school” or “try to not deliver on a Friday”. We will attach any direction to the delivery and endeavour carry out any other instructions given to us. Failure to provide adequate delivery instructions could result in an additional shipping charge. If you are unable to be to home to accept the delivery please give a work or business address to ensure there is someone to sign for the delivery

Whilst we make every effort to deliver goods on the day we specify, we cannot guarantee delivery on that day or accept liability for deliveries made outside this timescale. This also applies to products sent directly from our manufacturers. We cannot accept liability for out of pocket expenses or other costs incurred due to failed or delayed deliveries.

Stable Equipment (and bulky items) delivery / returns:

In some cases Old Mill Saddlery's normal shipping rates may not apply. This may be due to the size, shape or weight of the items We will notify you within 12 hours if we cannot ship the goods for the cost shown. We will advise you of the revised delivery costs and at this stage you have the right to cancel. Due to nature of these items we will make every effort to contact you to arrange a convenient delivery time.

For heavy or bulky items we reserve the right to charge a redelivery fee if the customer is not there to collect the goods as arranged.

When goods are ordered under the terms of free delivery the customer will be liable for the cost of delivery if the goods are returned under our 10 day money back guarantee. This will not be the case where the goods are returned and found to be faulty.

10 Day Money Back Guarantee:

We offer a 10 Day Money Back Guarantee on all our products purchased on saddlery.biz. When buying over the net it can be difficult to know exactly how a product looks and feels. We cover this, so you can do exactly that. If you do not like the goods we will give a full “no quibble” refund. The full cost of the goods will be refunded less the delivery charge. The credit will be added to your credit card. We can also exchange for another product, leave your balance on account or send a cheque for the refund. The refund will be made within 15 days of us receiving the goods. The 10 days will begin from the day you receive the goods. Goods returned after this period will incur a 10% restocking charge. Goods to be returned must be returned using our “Goods Returns Procedure”. They must be returned unused and in their original packaging. If either of these stipulations are not met we reserve the right to refuse credit or incur a 10% repacking/used charge.

Goods Returns Procedure

1. Go to the " Goods Returns Procedure form "
2. Fill out form and send to Old Mill Saddlery.
3. We will then email you a Goods return number (Do not return goods until you receive this number)
4. This number must then be placed on the original packing list or a copy of the Goods Returned form and also on the outside of the parcel above the address label.

It is important that you keep the receipt of posting, as this will be the proof that you have returned the goods to Old Mill Saddlery. Old Mill Saddlery will not accept responsibility for any goods lost by post or courier when being returned by a customer.

If the goods ordered have been "customised" (for example name on blankets) or are special orders (for example goods that are made to order) then Old Mill Saddlery reserves the right to charge you for recovery of the goods in the event of a cancellation. These goods cannot be returned on our 10 day policy unless they are faulty.

Worldwide returns.
In the event of goods being returned form countries outside the UK and  Ireland. If the goods are not faulty their may be an additional charge as well as you cost of returning them to us. In many cases we supplement the outgoing shipping to reduce the cost for you. If this were the case we may have to charge the supplement section of the outgoing shipping. This would be advised if a return was requested.

Faulty Goods Return Policy

If goods delivered to you are faulty we will be happy to replace them or refund the cost. In order for us to deal with your return efficiently. Please refer the ‘ Goods return Procedure' for details on how to return your goods. Goods must not be returned without first filling in the ‘ Goods Return Form' .

When the goods are received by Old Mill Saddlery the problem will be investigated and a solution resolved. We endeavour to resolve the problem within 3 working days from receipt of the faulty goods. On occasions the product may have to be returned to the manufacturer in order to determine the problem. In this case it may take up to 30 days for a conclusion to be reached. If the goods are found to be faulty we will give a full refund including the cost of postage.

Warranty Information

Most items in the saddlery.biz website have a manufacturer's warranty, which is passed directly to the customer. Old Mill Saddlery has no control over the terms of the warranty. If your product is faulty on delivery please refer to the ' Faulty Goods Returns Policy '.
